Big George, you don't owe anyone an apology but the lesson that has hopefully been learned is that all we have to go on are the words that we read. From a communication standpoint, the downside to message boards and e-mail is that we fail to hear a person's tone and subsequently, are prone to misinterpret intent. Raising the notion that KH is a curse or his departure would be a blessing in disguise could only result in the feedback you received. You could have gotten your legitimate question across using less dramatic words. As for the team, yes I think the pressure has greatly intensified and as I indicated in the Mike Hall post, we've got to go back to having fun on the court. At this point, barring a loss at Olean, I'd say we're in the tournament no matter what. So I hope we can go back to playing loose and as I stated earlier, "lengthening the bench." Finally, the one positive that I came away with from the UMASS game is that this game saw a lot of physical play with the refs deciding to let it go. This is eactly how games go in the NCAA's and if we match-up against a team that knows how to play physically, this is the style of play we're liable to be up against. Rather than relying on the refs to bail us out, we hung tough and won a game that was reminiscent of a tournament win (not to suggest that UMASS is an NCAA caliber team, but the ebb and flow of the game was tournament-like). From that standpoint, Wednesday night was a good eperience for the team.
