It seems people have decided Lonergan is the odds on favorite to be our next coach.  For those of us who aren't regular viewers of VT hoops, how do you pronounce the guy's last name?

 Doesn't seem that hard to pronounce.

Lo-NER-gan

 Just like the mustachioed gent who is caught in The Sting (movie): LO ner gan. 

and remember VT is the turkeys.  UVM is Vermont.  

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's LAHN-er-gan.

 That's the right phoenetic presentation, FQ. Good, strategic communication.  It was pronounced like that way in the movie, too. I had not meant to imply a long O, just that the accent is on the first syllable. I had a co-counsel long ago named Lonergan. Everybody was assured that everything would work out well once Lonergan was on the case. The very name came to encapsulate confidence, and we all we looking forward to getting his insights. Well, of course he decided to take on another job entirely, so we never knew how he'd have worked out. Maybe here, at GW, Lonergan will work out for us.
