It's understandable that people here would be bothered by this.  After all, the people here generally limit their nasty stereotyping to people from other parts of the U.S.

Bobo, I'm against anyone who stereotypes.  I don't know if the xenophobic heckling at Verizon Center against our players ever got to the level in the Southern Mississippi games, but I bet you a lot of the hecklers were from big metro areas in the Mid-Atlantic or Northeastern U.S.    I'd rather try to raise the level of civility than use other peoples' bad conduct as a justification for my own, but I have no aspiration to be the PC police here.
