I agree. This non-conference schedule now sucks besides Notre Dame. In fact it's no better than the ones we used to play under Hobbs regardless of what some spin masters may say. What makes Rutgers or Georgia better games than Oregon State or Providence? No tournaments?
I am reserving judgement on this staff until this year plays out. Right now they've gotten major credit for two things that remain unclear. They by all accounts didn't make the schedule last year and somehow got credit for playing a tougher schedule, yet this slate looks very weak compared to other A10 schools. The recruiting class is being hyped to all heavens on this board but no scouting service seems to thing very highly of any of these players, even though most of them played for schools were they were seen all the time. Regardless of the cheerleaders on this board, I think you'll find that most GW fans are in this wait and see majority.
