Appropriate accuracy for team #137. Manhattan would be team #138 so we should win. Right?
Color me skeptical. Freshmen will play a much bigger role in the fortunes of GW next year so I'd be surprised if the starting lineup looked anything like that projected. Also don't think that who starts will be as important next year as who gets the crunch time minutes. Hard to be patient but I still think that the true measure of Lonergan's program will start showing itself in 2013-14.
Nice preview. Their guess is as good as anyones. Still, clearly indicates a move in the right direction. I agree that Armwood's play is going to be signficant. I also do not see Barnes playing major minutes at the point. I just wish I had Poog's patience.
Long Suffering and yet impatient? Sounds like a bit of an oxymoron to me.
The key to my suffering has always been the teams failure to meet my unrealistic expectations.
we're in trouble if Bynes and Mikic are starters for much of the season. they may start against Catholic.
If Mikic can shoot the 3 next year like he did as a frehman, he starts. I like the freshman as recruits but none are 4 or 5 start level prospects and we've never seen them play against college competition.
Forget the stars. Newcomers will have growing pains but should contribute immediately.
I agree that Mikic should not start. Even if he is shooting the 3 well, unless he has improved in other aspects of his game, he doesn't give nearly enough to warrant a starter's minutes. Unless he rebounds and defends, his minutes should be limited.
