Boy, you guys sure know how to make things sound worse than they are. For those who didn't read it, LA Fan and GWAA's post are EXTREMELY misleading.
There is no suggestion that Dwayne or Lasan's injury status is unclear (that's just something GWAA made up).
About Dwayne, ML says he's had the best off-season of any Colonial, which is the opposite of suggesting it's unclear whether he's healthy now. ML even names him as a potential starter this season. Yes, ML says we need to keep him healthy, but there's no suggestion that his health is 'unclear'.
About Kromah, ML says, ""I told him (a starting job is) not going to be handed to him this year," Lonergan said. "He has to produce at both ends. He has to shoot at a high percentage, and he's up for that challenge. We have to get a lot more out of him than we did last season." How you get from that statement to unclear whether he's healthy is beyond me.
To LA Fan's comment, it's not "most of the team." It's three guys: Pellom who it says should be back around the start of practices; Bynes, who they think will be back in time for the Italy trip; and Garino, who they are unsure about. There is also no suggestion that anyone else is currently recovering from injuries or worn down (only that guys were recovering or worn down last year).
And for those who didn't read it, the most interesting news here is that ML said Armwood is the one guy he knows will start. And that while he wouldn't name a 2nd, he singled out Dwayne Smith as having the best off-season of anyone.
