I heard of him he played at Coolidge a while back, but didnt really seem like a legit shooting guard. He couldn"t dribble.
He plays division two basketball for New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM in the prestigious RMAC Conference. He graduated high school a little while ago which is ironic because he still has another year of eligibility. He was rumored to be enrolling at Alcorn State previously but he is having success after a recent check up.
Man! I've been waiting four years for that info! Now I can finally die in peace!
Tim Ledger of the Professional Sportscasting Association, thank you very much for the update on Lionel Coleman.
Awesome! That was fantastic
Why didnt he just go to Temple back in 07' ?? I seen articles saying he was going there then he got into it with Fran Dunphy and his staff about playing in pick up games which led to them parting ways. Any truth ?? Me and my boys used to watch the Coolidge vs Spigarn games every year and he was quite a talent.
Just heard on Sportscenter that Northern Arizona Univeristy and Kennesaw State are also in the running for Coleman, along with the aforementioned Alcorn State. Stay tuned everyone. Updates coming soon!
Lionel Coleman? Wasn't he a character in the movie Trading Places?
Louis: Looking good, Billy Ray!
Billy Ray: Feeling good, Louis!
Tim Ledger was awesome with the Bullets and he is very good on ESPN, really should trust these updates
... to say nothing of his brother, Tim Legler, or his cousin, Heath Ledger.
I love how this ancient thread still has life. In a few years when folks are still posting on this thread maybe his great grandkid will be on GW's radar screen.
he plays in new Mexico that my boy hope he does good in NBA tryouts next year.. Hobbs should have signed him in 09 then GW wouldve gotten more locals . its so much talent in dc yet the locals sign across country ..think about it
Somebody this will have more comments than Nigel's thread.
