Hooey on those fairweather fans. Let's ignore the turbulence, young men whose lives have been uprooted being kicked off the team or when a starter transfers midyear, massive turnover, possibly the worst schedule in D1, games left on the table, total and pronounced lack of respect for the fans from the head coach as well as his embarassing antics that are legendary leaguewide--and that very special home game we lost because he had si men on the floor.
Not to mention atrocious, the head coach failing to take any responsibility but cowardly turning on a student reporer for asking a question, and the Kremlinlike silence from the team about the most mundane matters. We only read about our games or injuries in the opposing teams media and web sites.
After all, despite all this, we were able to win a rest from our LEAGUE tournament two years in a row. Only two teams get that special distinction.
The real fans ignore these facts. These nattering nabobs of negativism are obviously Johnny Come Latelys (Oops ,Johnny left too. Must be something in the water).
