Where the patience is truly wearing thin is with the ownership. Acta is fine; there isn't a manager who could step in right now and make this team demonstrably better. Nats fans have been told to be patient and to hang in there for four straight years now. When Teiera didn't sign, this team should have made at least 3-4 moves as opposed to solely an Adam Dunn signing. And, this latest episode involving Dukes being fined for being 5 minutes late as a result of attending a Little League function is just a PR fiasco. Thank goodness that Bowden is finally gone but the leash on Kasten/Rizzo is growing shorter by the days. Unfortunately, the guys who need to go, the Lerners, aren't going anywhere. But given the fact that many area residents had to endure Peter Angelos long before the Lerners, and still must put up with Dan Snyder, I guess it's nothing we're not used to.
