There was another Pops sighting at the GW Deli on Tuesday night. (God, this is beginning to sound like reports of an alien sighting). He was there with three NBA players. My source at the Deli told me the reason for Pops' periodic returns to the GW campus. It turns out that his younger brother, Benson Mensa-Bonsu, is now a student at GW. He opted not to participate in college sports, not in basketball, soccer or track. He came to GW strictly for the academics. He is involved in a hip-hop record label as a business venture (what he wants to do after college). He doesn't want any fanfare about being Pops' younger brother. (Maybe I shouldn't have posted this info?). I am told by my source that Benson has a distinct British accent (as opposed to Pops) and is purportedly quite a nice guy. He often stops by the GW Deli.
I am beginning to think that the GW Deli is GW's answer to Yale's Morey's.
