Terrible news. She was really rounding into shape by the end of the year and regaining the hops and speed she showed in her freshman year.  Obviously lousy for the team but much more devastating for Ivy.  Always tough to see players get hurt like that.

Dan Greene reports that Ivy had her ACL surgery on Friday and confirms that Stefani Munro will not be a "participating" member of the team though she will remain at GW and retain her scholarship. Thins out the logjam at guard.  For those Colonials fans who tire of hearing Coach Hobbs complain about his charges being a young team, please cut some slack for Coach Bozeman. Unless Antelia somehow gets an etra semester of eligibility, GW will be made up entirely of freshmen and sophomores net year. At least Coach Mike won't be able to lose any hair over the coming season.

Unfortunately, Ivy's injuries do seem to afflict the high leapers more than most other players.  I feel terrible for her and the team.  As for Steffi, while I certainly wish her well in the classroom, I for one will not miss her presence on the floor -- and that's my own opinion, Poog; no need to rebut.
