This is another one of Coach Houstons great finds. It appears that Duje is intrested because one of his AAU teammates is here.(Tim Johnson) Who could also help get him here. He also has a close teammate on Oregon State in Rhys Murphy,who is also a AAU teammate. Who will be trying to lure him there. Another friend maybe his closest Matt Vogrich who also plays on his AAU team signed with Michigan. Which accounts for the unofficial visit to Michigan.And right now if they offered. He would take it in a heartbeat.(He told me that himself.) So Michigan is a front runner right now.

The problem lies here.They one time Hobbs seen him ,he wasnt to impressive. So I dont think we are really going hard at him. Hobbs seen him in Vegas in a AAU game and didnt see anything that really made him stand out.

However Vogrich's teammate Marin Kucoc,and Duje's on court nemisis.Is very high on Hobbs list.

So the bottom line is Hobbs will have last say so.And I am sure he will look at Duje again before its all over.But right now he is not overly impressed with his game right now.

Dolphin, I've been receiving reports on this young man for three years.  In fact, I was the individual who first reported here that GW offered a scholarship to Duje (but let's not get into that).  In any case, he is crazy athletic and would arrive at GW as somewhat of a project but one with a great chance for success.  Duje is a hard worker and does not have any ego issues whatsoever.  I would love to see him wearing a Colonial uniform.  Omar is a good comparison; a cross between Omar and Regis would be fair as well.

Wisconsin has offered . Now our chance of landing him, has just went down.

But who knows anything could happen..

hey, at least GW is getting free publicity.  I guess the question I have is are we going after guys we know we cannot land to get the GW "brand" out there?
