So what do we make of Tyson Gay's time in the seldom-run straigtht-line 200 meters in Manchester, UK?  He posted a "world record" 19.42 into a slight headwind on a no-curves course specially built on a main drag in town. The previous mark was 19.50, many moons ago.  I'd have given it little notice, but at least one of his internal times is intriguing: from 50 meters to 150 he clocked 8.72 on an electronic timer.  Not too shabby, regardless of the setting.  Asked if he's ready to challenge Usain Bolt, he basically said  he's like to get to that status. Pretty candid assessment.

GEEZ! Tyson looks just like my "sister-in-law," Wendy. I'll have to talk to her now former husband, and see what really went down.
