Demarcus Cousins played for Tombs and Team Turner. I was surprised D.Cousins played in the Kenner League because he doesn't appear to have any ties to the D.C.area, he's from Alabama, played at Kentucky and got drafted by Sacramento!! Maybe he was in D.C.to hang out with John Wall. Some other notable players to GW fans were former Richmond player Tony Dobbins who played for Hoop Magic, Bryon Allen played for Higher Level(I think that's the name of that team) and Nigel Munson played for Beyond Belief. Another interesting player is Tristan Spurlock, who played well for DC. He's from Virginia and played at the University Of Virginia last year as a freshman and has decided to transfer. He's about 6'7 and looked to be a small forward. He's athletic and can knock down perimeter shots. Does GW have any interest in him or vice versa??
