Received a letter in the mail today with the 2010-2011 season tickets' renewal information.  Blue seats are $425 each.  There is a new VIP Blue seat area in section 111 and tickets there are $450.  AD's Club is at $1,500.  The Colonial Club has new levels, the lowest tier starting at $3,000.  Unless I am misreading the provided information, it appears that membership in either the AD's or Colonials' Club is required in order to maintain your past season tickets, although membership level does not appear to forclose being bumped out of the seats you had last  year.  The information packet is very nice, and an improvement from the past. 

Club membership is NOT required to retain your season tickets in VIP Blue, Blue or Lower Gold seats. For those sections, the only requirement to guarantee you keep your seats is that you return your invoice by Friday, August 6. If you have not received your invoice, please email GWpromos@gwu.edu or call 202.994.6050.

Colonials Club seating, which includes both the sideline and baseline seats does, however, require Colonials Club membership. It is required for all season ticket holder accounts on the floor to also be Club members.

Request to The George Washington:  Do you know when women's season ticket renewal info will be available?  I've heard nothing as of today (July 30).

The George Washington:  As promised, the phone call from Sarah Jo came yesterday; she's as enthusiastic as ever.  One thing for sure:  we'll field more than eight women -- hopefully healthy -- this season.  Many thanks.

$1500 priced me out. Although I liked the AD club and was there for most of the games, I could not rationalize an additional $500 so I skipped that part of my renewal. ( I did make a donation but might spread any additional money to other worthy GW causes.) Although not overwhelmed last year it was always pretty full. I'm guessing the thinking was that a $500 increase would more than make up for a somewhat smaller crowd.
