I agree with you regarding Wilbert Skipper ( skip ) former GWU basketball player. He was a great tallent and a wonderful person. He is currently working as a Motivational speaker and will be releasing his first book before the end of this year. Let's support our alumni member when the book is released.  He was raw and athletic and had a weak supporting cast.  Curtis Jeffries was the only only other decent player with him. Magid Lidsay, Glenn, Sampson and Zagardo left just before his arrival.  i remember when he dove for a loose ball and separated his shoulder.  It was  painful to witness.  Wilbert played hard and deserved a better fate

One of the best GW chants ever was:

FILL IT UP WILBERT, FILL IT UP - clap clap

He was GW's Sleepy Floyd as I recall. Out of Anacostia High School I think.
