Didn't see this on here, but I think it's pretty cool. Mo Ali-Cox just signed with the Ind. Colts today. I must say I did not like him at VCU, but it is going to be cool to see him play in the NFL. Since he is a 5th year senior it looks like he was draftable last year. Therefore he was signed before the draft. Obviously he is going to be playing TE and I think he could be good at it.
Either way, I thought this was pretty cool. Wishing him the best.

Should work well since he's been playing football for years on the court.

Still Here, thanks for the explanation, when I heard about this earlier, I was wondering how Mo Alie-Cox could be signed before the draft. How do they determine what he gets paid??
Herve, if Mo Alie-Cox becomes a great NFL player like Antonio Gates or Jimmy Graham will you still hate him for his illegal screens and all the fouling he did that never got called!! HA!

Herve, lol. Wish him well, as any exposure and media the A10 gets is good for GW.

Maybe Cox will finally get called for his personal fouls.

Mo Alie-Cox is the only VCU player I've respected ON THE COURT since Joey Rodriguez. He played with an unrelenting tenacity and obvious desire to win every single possesion. Very admirable, imo. Loved watching him play against anyone but GW.
Everyone else for VCU just hacks and complains. I really do hate their team.

Credit to my son on this one. When he first laid eyes on Alie-Cox, 10 or 12 years ago during his freshman year, the first thing he said to me was "that guy ought to be playing tight end in the NFL." Pretty good call.

How will this end differently than the GMU player a few years back who had same game as Cox?

i heard some stat on the radio that indicated that 45% of first rounders are marginal to busts since 2011. It feels like other than height weight 40yd dash certain jumps and bench press we don't know much about these kids until the get to camp.
