Nice.  They also had a piece at the halftime of the URI/VCU game on A-10 surprises and the GW Freshman Four got a nice chunk of airtime.

 Didn't realize our bench was out scoring our opponents' benches in conf play 181-67.    That's awesome and a huge part of our success. 

Bench scoring is a bit of a deceptive number given that at least 2 players (Kromah and Kopriva) are playing starers minutes off of the bench. 

LSF, Pomeroy actually has a stat for bench minutes.  our bench plays 33.1% according to him, good for 136th in the country (though he lists Kromah as a starter, so he could be mis-counting).  Among our A-10 opponents, Charlotte and UMASS' benches play more than ours, the rest a little less.

I suspect, by the way, that you meant Bynes, not Kopriva.

Happy to see the Hatchet calling these frosh "The Freshman Four" instead of what others have used: :The Four Freshmen."  As Old Prof and I -- and possibly one or two other old crocs on the site -- will recall, one of the most popular groups throughout the '50's was The Four Freshmen. They topped the charts for a heluva long time.  Great harmonies on great songs.
