so with this depleted roster why haven't we seen maragkos?

 Agree. The few times he's played he has looked better than a number of guys who play regularly. A real mystery.

He came in vs Richmond and promptly got beaten like a rented mule defensively on a drive to the basket.  Lonergan gave him a quick hook thereafter.

Worth another shot in selected situations and can at least provide some momentary bulk if he is inclined to mix it up inside..

Paris has shown some offense, anyway.

Sitting Mr. Armwood or Mr. Larsen to clear space for Paris doesn't seem like a winning option. Neither does putting him in for The Argentine. He will get his time, in due course, especially if he can shoot the 3.

 trial by fire for him vs. Derrick Williams. but he has value bc he does have a shooting touch and can hit FTs. but just like with any big man he has to improve his hands and move his feet on defense.

How do we know he has offensive game? Or a shooting touch? He's hardly seen the court this year.

Nem,

actually, in the limited minutes he's exhibited some decent offensive skills, particularly for a big man.  the question with him has been about his defense;

ziik,

he's not going to replace either armwood or larsen, although the way armwood has played lately, perhaps he's playing too many minutes.  his time would come from mikic and kopriva primarily.  i can't imagine what he does on defense being much worse than what we get from mikic and smith and his offense can't possibly be worse than mikic's and kopriva's.

At this point we should be running him out there f or 5-10 minutes a game unless the kid has absolutely no future a-la davis.

I'd give Armwood fewer minutes and I think we'd be rewarded by more efficient play.  He's an active player like Pops.  I don't think Pops ever averaged more than 25 minutes.  Armwood only played 17 mpg in his soph year and then sat out a year.  I think some kind of fatigue has set in.
